How can I change or negotiate the briefing elements (e.g., anchor text, link integration, or publication date)?

To modify one or more elements of the mission briefing (anchor text, link integration, or publication date), follow the steps below based on the mission's current status.

Mission not yet accepted

Contact the advertiser via the mission messaging system to request changes. The advertiser can update the briefing independently before you accept the mission.

Mission accepted and in progress (drafting or publishing)

If the mission is in progress, the process depends on what needs to change.

For anchor text specifically: you can submit your content even if the anchors do not exactly match the advertiser's request. When submitting, a warning modal will display the requested anchors versus the detected anchors. The advertiser will review the difference and validate or reject the proposed anchors during content review. If the advertiser validates, the mission control reference is updated accordingly.

For other briefing elements (link URL, publication date, or other conditions): contact the advertiser via the dedicated messaging system to agree on changes before submitting. Once an agreement is reached, contact customer support to apply the modifications.

Mission already published

Once the mission has been published, changes are at the publisher's initiative and require the advertiser's approval. Use the mission messaging system to propose any corrections. Customer support can only intervene after the advertiser has given explicit consent. Follow the same procedure as case 2: reach an agreement via messaging, then contact support to proceed.

📌Note: the mission messaging system remains open after publication, but the mission review period is 30 days. Use this window to resolve any open points with the advertiser.
