Ask for a correction - Modify a current or previously published article

To modify one or more elements of a mission briefing or a published article, follow the steps below based on the mission's current status.

Mission not yet accepted by the publisher

You can update the mission briefing independently. Log in to your profile, select the mission, and edit the desired fields directly, with no additional steps required.

Mission accepted and in progress (drafting or publishing)

If the mission is in progress, the process depends on what needs to change.

For anchor text: when the publisher submits content, the platform automatically detects any difference between the anchors specified in your brief and the anchors used in the article. You will see a clear comparison block (requested vs. detected) during content review. You can validate the proposed anchors or reject them and request a correction. If you validate, the mission control reference is updated to reflect the anchors you approved.

For other briefing elements (link URL, publication date, or other conditions): contact the publisher via the dedicated messaging system to agree on any adjustments. Once an agreement is reached, contact customer support to apply the modifications.

Mission already published

Once published, any changes require the publisher's agreement. Use the mission messaging system to request corrections directly. Customer support can only intervene after the publisher has given explicit consent. Agree on the changes via messaging first, then contact support to proceed.

📌Note: the mission messaging system remains open after publication, but the mission review period is 30 days. Make sure to raise any corrections within this window.
