# How to define the price of an article?

If you know the price you want to propose, you can enter it in the dedicated box. **We recommend using the prices of similar sites to yours and aligning with market prices.**

You can also [modify the price or other publication conditions at any time](https://help.getfluence.com/en/support/how-to-change-the-price-of-an-assignment-offer?hsLang=en).

Price changes are not retroactive and will not apply to ongoing campaigns.

Throughout the year, you can **apply promotions related to seasonality and/or specific events**.

Prices and rates must be kept up to date on the catalog, and it is the publisher's responsibility to ensure that this update is managed to avoid receiving offers with outdated prices or conditions.

Any changes to prices and conditions are subject to moderation by the Getfluence Publishing Team. During the moderation period, the site will be temporarily out of catalog.
